We're an independent film company founded in March 2000. Now in our 12th year, we're looking forward to producing our seventh full length feature comedy. At our heart, Dynamic Rain and Thunder is an organization of artists who love comedy, drama and the creative power of independent film. AS ALWAYS - WE'RE BRAVER THAN A BABY OCTOPUS!

Sebastian Solomente

Sebastian Solomente is one of the supporting protagonists in our unproduced screenplay "Beware of The Captain". He is a private detective living in an unnamemed Mexican border town. He plays a pivotal role in the movie as he has inside knowledge of The Captain and how to stop him. He's foiled and robbed by Gary and Selso early on, then joins Jasmin and Gabe on the their quest to save Jasmin's sister from The Captain.  We learn through the course of the story that he lost his wife to The Captain many years ago.

Sebastian interacts mainly with Jasmin and Gabe, though he has scenes with Gary and Selso.

Inspiration (AJ Gonzales): Sebastian was written with Phil in mind, and Phil and I spent a lot of fun days coming up with all sorts of character details and how he'd fit into the plot. While writing The Captain, I looked to Phil's character to become the real heartfelt one, and of course then I had to make sure he got beaten up every step of the way.
